Oliver Jarvis began playing the saxophone in 2001. Since then he has played at Glastonbury Festival, London Jazz Festival and played with various jazz, soul, big band, hip-hop and funk bands.
He still plays actively in several groups including first tenor in the Fulham Big Band; Superbad, the funk and soul function group; and The Remedies, who have played with the likes of Ed Sheeran and were the resident band for Gordan Ramsey’s restaurant.
Oliver has Grade 8 in classical saxophone; Grade 5 theory; BA Hons in Music; PGCE in Secondary Music Education and many years of teaching (both classroom and privately) to all ages (8-50).
