Beata Kuzak is a jazz and musical theatre singer, songwriter and a vocal tutor. She graduated from a jazz degree at Middlesex University in 2010, having studied under internationally acclaimed jazz musicians: Chris Batchelor, Nikki Iles and Anita Wardell, just to name a few.
She started singing at the age of 16 when she joined a Gospel Choir. At the same time, she got involved in a Musical Theatre production and started professional vocal training. As a singer, she has gained her experience through solo work, performing with her trio/quartet and many jazz musicians at various London venues and abroad as well as being part of choirs and vocal groups.
As a vocal teacher she has developed a high standard of teaching skills and gained a broad knowledge of the vocal technique through critical observations and academic research while being a music student and throughout her past and present performing activity. She teaches all age groups and variety of styles ranging from jazz, pop to Musical Theatre.
Her speciality is vocal technique but she also values the importance of repertoire work and ear training which immensely improves students’ musicality and helps them grow artistically.
