Oliver Jarvis graduated from UEA and Durham University specialising in jazz and classical music performance. As a professional musician, he has performed at Glastonbury, the London Jazz Festival, Hyde Park Calling, Isle of Wight Festival and various other venues and festivals.
Oliver has taught saxophone in schools and privately for over 15 years to a range of ages (6-50+). He plays and teaches the full range of saxophones (alto, tenor, soprano and baritone) and can teach grades or help you learn for fun. Oliver also draws on his experience as a psychotherapist and secondary school music teacher to influence his teaching, recognising the importance that psychology plays in learning an instrument and establishing good practice routines.
