Marianna Sachinidou

Marianna Sachinidou is an award-winning musician with an Integrated Master’s degree in Music Education/Musicology and Music Neuroscience. She is an experienced music educator with extensive knowledge in performance, composition and music technology. In more detail, she is a classically trained pianist and a contemporary vocalist, with higher music theory studies. For many years she has been working under the wing of great teachers and world-class performers like N. Zafranas, N. Kyriosoglou and R. Gosalbo, focusing on pianistic technique, a rich repertoire and accompaniment. At the same time, she has been working closely with the vocal teacher and choral conductor David Dellaire, focusing on singing technique and improvisation style within different genres such as pop, jazz, blues, soul and swing.

For the past few years, she has been working in various educational settings across Europe and in the UK, as a classroom music teacher and as a private tutor, providing individual instrumental sessions in music performance and theory. She has been teaching students of a wide range of ages, from toddlers to adults who work in the music industry.

Marianna’s goal throughout her career is not only to teach music education principles but also to communicate her passion for music. To achieve this, she is always taking into consideration her students’ interests, enhancing their abilities through an adaptable and flexible curriculum. She also ensures to apply her practical knowledge as a music performer for an up-to-date and efficient learning experience.
